Welcome to Equinox Counselling Services. By using our counselling services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before engaging with our services.

1. Services

Equinox Counselling Services provides counselling and therapy services for individuals and groups. Our services are designed to support personal growth, emotional well-being, and healthy relationships.

2. Confidentiality

All sessions and communications between clients and our therapists are strictly confidential, as governed by applicable laws and professional codes of ethics. Exceptions to confidentiality may apply in cases where there is a risk of harm to oneself or others.

3. Payment and Fees

Fees for counselling sessions are outlined in our pricing structure which will be discussed and enclosed in agreement. Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made. We accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit card, and debit card.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.

5. Code of Conduct

Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner during counselling sessions. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

6. Termination of Services

Equinox Counselling Services reserves the right to terminate counselling services if it is deemed that the client would be better served by another professional or if the client is not adhering to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided during counselling sessions, including written materials and resources, are the intellectual property of Equinox Counselling Services and may not be reproduced or distributed without explicit permission.

8. Disclaimer

Counselling services provided by Equinox Counselling Services are not a substitute for professional medical or psychiatric treatment. If you are in need of urgent mental health support, please contact your local crisis helpline or seek immediate medical attention.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
