  • What is Counselling?
    Counselling is a form of talk therapy that provides a safe and confidential space for individuals, couples, families, and groups to explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns with a trained therapist. The goal is to gain insight, develop coping strategies, and work towards positive change.

  • How Do I Schedule an Appointment?
    To schedule an appointment, please contact us via phone or email. Our administrative team will assist you in finding a suitable time and therapist.
  • What Can I Expect in a Counselling Session?
    In a counselling session, you can expect a non-judgmental and supportive environment. Your therapist will listen actively and help you explore your thoughts and emotions. Together, you will work towards understanding and developing strategies for positive change.
  • Is Counselling Confidential?
    Yes, all sessions and communications between clients and therapists are strictly confidential, as governed by applicable laws and professional codes of ethics. Any exceptions to confidentiality will be discussed in the first session.
  • How Long Does a Counselling Session Last?
    A typical counselling session lasts approximately 50 minutes. However, session lengths may vary depending on the specific needs of the client.
  • What is the Fee Structure for Counselling Sessions?
    Our fee structure is outlined on our Pricing page. We accept various forms of payment, including cash and Bank Transfer.
  • What if I Need to Cancel or Reschedule a Session?
    If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • Do you provide telephone counselling?
    Yes. Equinox Counselling provide telephone counselling.
  • Do you provide video counselling?
    Yes. Equinox Counselling provide secure video online counselling.
  • Do you provide face to face counselling?
    Yes. Equinox Counselling provide face to face counselling at our counselling centre in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. (By appointment only.)
  • Do you provide individual counselling?
    Yes. Equinox Counselling provides individual counselling.
  • Do you provide group counselling?
    Yes. Equinox Counselling provides group therapy counselling.
  • Do you provide couples counselling?
    No. Equinox Counselling does not provide couples counselling but we are able to refer you to a qualified couples counselling specialist.
  • Do you provide family counselling?
    No. Equinox Counselling does not provide family counselling but we can refer you to a qualified family counsellor.
  • Are you a Registered Member?
    Yes. Equinox Counselling are qualified. Rebecca Pepper is a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) - registration number 395493
  • Can you help me set-up online video calls?
    Yes. We are able to email you a simple click link which will provide us with a secure video link to begin your counselling.
  • Will my online counselling be secure?
    Equinox Counselling provide 100% secure online video counselling.
